We know, we know — this is the less exciting part. But these requirements are what keep Soundline Oldies sounding as good as it does. They’re the foundation of the quality our listeners love — and without that standard, they wouldn’t keep tuning in.
And let’s be honest — without our listeners, neither would we!
What We’re Looking For:
🎙️ Radio Experience Required
Whether professional or voluntary, some experience in radio broadcasting is essential.
💻 Your Own Equipment
As shows are broadcast from home, you’ll need: A desktop or laptop computer (Windows or Mac), a stable, moderately fast internet connection, good-quality microphone and wired headphones. And finally a strong music libary from the 50s up to the 80s and maybe a touch of 90s for good measure (even if it’s only part of that time period, that’s perfectly fine!)
📡 Broadcast Methods
We are currently only accepting live shows, whether syndicated or exclusive. All pre-recorded slots are full at this time, so please do not apply if pre-recorded content is all you can offer.
🎵 Music-Focused Content
Soundline Oldies is all about the music. We don’t host talk-only shows — your program should have a strong music focus.
🌟 Professionalism On Air
Bring your personality, passion, and creativity — but always maintain a professional, listener-friendly tone on air.
📱 Valid WhatsApp Number
We use WhatsApp as our main communication tool with all team members, so an active number is required.
🗣️ Fluency in English
As our audience primarily speaks English, clear and effective communication in English is essential.
💚 Voluntary Role
